Keeping Up with His Kids

Mike Jordan grew up fit and active, but when he hit a rough patch in life he turned to food as his quick-fix.
“I went through a rough period where food became my comfort,” Mike said. “In a matter of 12 months I went from 170 pounds to 230 pounds. It was uncomfortable to say the least. I was devastated and worried that I would never be able to get back into a healthy weight range.”
Mike tried losing weight through various diets, but none had lasting results. Going back and forth with losing and gaining weight took a toll on Mike’s morale.
“I attempted several diets on my own, but each time I attempted I only seemed to last for three to five weeks,” he said. “I would eventually go back to my poor eating habits and lack of exercise, only to become more discouraged when I found it very difficult to lose even 20 pounds. After losing only 10 pounds in three months I gave up and eventually gained most of the weight back.”
In September 2014, Mike weighed 221 pounds, had low energy, and didn’t feel good about himself. He struggled keeping up with his active children, and worried about being engaged with them in the coming years. He wanted to make health changes, but didn’t know if Transformation could hold up to its claims.
“My main motivation for getting in shape was to be better engaged with my children and share a healthier way of life with them,” Mike said. “When approached to do the Transformation program, I was excited yet skeptical. But after giving it much thought, I was committed to the entire program.”
Mike closely followed Transformation’s principles laid out by his coach, and loved the results he began to see even just a few weeks in.
“By closely following direction from my coach I could see results after only three weeks,” he said. “This motivated me to keep going to see how much I could accomplish.”
By the end of the program, Mike lost 43 pounds,12 inches off his waist. His pant size dropped from 40 to 33, and his confidence shot up. He is happy to keep up with his active family.
“My confidence has improved and my energy levels are amazing,” Mike said. “What a difference this has made in my life. In only 13 weeks I have gained a platform for maintaining overall physical health. Transformation has provided me with the freedom to live a healthy, active life.”
